Taper/tapered/conical roller bearing
1. Description
This kind of bearing is a separate bearing, both of inner and outer ring has tapered raceways, and the rollers are round-table shaped. Roller and raceways are line contact, which not only bear conbination of heavy radial and axial load, but also can bear pure axial load. The bigger of contact angle, the higher of load capacity.

Taper rollers should be designed to enable the extension of contact line of inner and outer raceways at the same point on the shaft, in order to achieve pure rolling.
As per the rows of rollers, this kind of bearing can be divided into single-row, two-row and four-row Taper Roller Bearing, and imperial size are available in this kind of bearing.
